Areas of work may include Football/Rugby Stadiums, Golf, Hospitality Venues, Public Space Events, Concerts/Festivals, Carnivals etc
Role: Safety Steward & SIA Licensed Security
Pay Rate: (Effective as of 01/04/2024)
Event Stewards: £11.44 per hour
Event SIA: £12.00 per hour
Desired Qualifications: NVQ 2 Spectator Safety (or working towards)
No previous experience or qualification required as ongoing development and training is provided in-house through our dedicated Staff Training & Development Program.
The role is one of customer care therefore we are keen to expand our employee base with individuals who possess excellent communication skills with customer service at its focus.
Candidates should:
◉ Attend at given dates and times as directed by the shift booking and allocation system.
◉ Attend any required pre/post event briefings.
◉ To be responsible for the safety and comfort of customers.
◉ Carry out pre or post safety checks as instructed.
◉ To staff entrances, exits and other key safety points.
◉ Constantly monitor the public in your assigned area checking for signs of distress or overcrowding and take action in accordance with standing instructions.
◉ Assist in the prevention of overcrowding.
◉ To control and direct the public entering and leaving the event and to assist in this movement.
◉ Ensure that gangways and exit/evacuation routes in your area are kept clear.
◉ Identify and investigate any incident or occurrence among the public reporting findings to a Supervisor and where appropriate completing the relevant Incident/Offence Report.
◉ Enforce and immediately report any breach of Legislative Requirements to their Supervisor.
◉ Be knowledgeable in the location of and be able to operate effectively the fire fighting equipment at the Stadium if required.
◉ Know the location of the First Aid Rooms.
◉ Be fully conversant with any methods or messages used to alert staff that an emergency has arisen.
◉ Be capable of recognizing potential fire hazards and suspect packages, reporting such matters immediately.
◉ Promptly comply with any instruction given by a Supervisor/Manager.
◉ Remain at allocated post as instructed unless authorised or ordered to do otherwise by a Supervisor.
◉ Report immediately to a Supervisor any damage or defect which is likely to pose a threat or danger to public safety.
◉ Assist as required in any evacuations.
◉ Comply with the relevant instructions and guidance contained in the Stewards Operational Handbook or briefings.
◉ To undertake specific duties in an emergency or as directed by a Supervisor/Manager.
◉ Attend all required training / top-up training as required.
Steward Dress Code:
- White Shirt & Black Tie (clip-on)
- Black dress trousers
- Black polished shoes/boots.
- Plain black Jumper / Fleece
- Plain black collared jacket
- You will be supplied with a hi-vis jacket or vest on the day.
The following items are not acceptable uniform: jeans, chinos, leggings, hoodies, hooded jackets, trainers, heels or steel toe capped boots.
Failure to adhere to the above dress-code will result in any allocated shifts being terminated.
Experience is preferred, however ongoing personal development and training is provided by our dedicated in-house trainers with options available for career progression through ITA Funded courses.

We are seeking to recruit Door Supervisors in Dundee and the surrounding area’s and expand our client base.

As a Door Supervisor you will be an essential part of the venue and team, maintaining a high level of customer care and safety.
The candidate must: –
- Possess a Valid Front Line SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
- Be able to build a rapport with clients and licencing officers.
- Have excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
- Be able to demonstrate that they can work on their own initiative and as part of a large team.
Key Tasks include:
- Provide a professional and friendly welcome to the venue.
- Screening a person’s suitability to enter an event or venue.
- Liaising with clients, customers and colleagues.
- Conducting searches for unauthorized or illegal items.
- Responding to incidents within the queues or audience.
- Dealing with conflict inside or outside the venue.
- Providing a security presence to prevent and detect crime.
Pay Rate: Effective as of 01/04/2024
Excellent rates for suitable candidates dependent on location and experience.
SIA Door Supervisor: £13.00 per hour
